VCR, or other audio device, the Sony VRD-MC1 lets you record video straight to DVD+R and DVD+RW discs. And with memory card slots for the five most popular camera memory cards, it lets you directly record images from the memory card to DVD-R/-RW as a DVD slide show. The Sony VRD-MC1 is even PictBridge compatible, which means that with a compatible PictBridge printer, you can directly print photos from camera memory cards or photo DVDs created with DVDirect.

This multifunction DVD recorder will take all the hassle out of recording and archiving your photos and videos. Now, with a push of a button, you can capture your images onto DVD for playback either through your computer or a compatible DVD player and television. The Sony VRD-MC1 also lets you view your images directly through its two-inch color LCD display screen. And if you want an additional backup for the videos and images stored on your PC, the recorder includes a USB 2.0 connection that allows you to make copies directly from your hard drive.

The Sony VRD-MC1 features one 4-pin i.LINK (IEEE1394) port for a camcorder connection, composite video, S-video and L/R audio connections for audio-video recording, and a USB 2.0 port. A memory stick duo slot and a multi-card slot that accepts a memory stick, SD memory cards, xD picture cards, and CompactFlash cards are included for your digital stills.

The Sony VRD-MC1 offers automatic menu and title/chapter creation and includes the award-winning Nero software suite that allows you to manage and edit your digital imagery quickly and easily.
