Sony is going to ship its latest UMPC, UX490, very soon this month. For $2500, you’d get a compact yet portable machine powered by an Intel Core 2 Solo processor and a 1GB of main memory with 48GB Solid State Drive. It will be bundled with a bluetooth GPS receiver, allowing users to find any address easily. Other features include a large capacity battery, pre-installed Windows Vista Business edition OS, an integrated 2 megapixel webcam module, microphone, and biometric fingerprint reader for enhanced data security.
