The iPod Video Goggles Accesories
We’ve written about video glasses before but these are the first ones I’ve seen especially for the iPod, the iPod Video Goggles. The iPod has a pretty decent screen but watching an entire movie on the small screen can be some what straining on the good old eyes. Using the video goggles is the equivalent to watching the movie on a 24 inch TV. Power is drawn from the iPod so there’s no need for extra batteries, transformers, etc. The iPod video goggles are available for a relatively reasonable $199.99....
iPod death is near
The popularity of iPod music device from Apple in the gadget Myth: Whatever irrefutable. However, it seems quite surprising if the founders of Apple itself even predicts that the future success of iPod soon collapsed. Is Steve Wozniak, one of the founders of the Apple iPod, which states the possibility of future popularity down immediately after so long to become most popular music player in the world. Woz said that too many people used the iPod that will occur over supply makes the popularity of the iPod future faded fast. "iPod will not survive long in the number one. If you turn to...
Touch Your iPod Touch
The iPod Touch doesn't need a large speaker or microphone, so the battery occupies a larger portion of the internals than the iPhone's battery. There are no wires connecting the rear panel to the iPod. Apple used an elegant contact connection to make assembly and disassembly easier. The circled points are contacts for the WiFi antenna. The huge touch-display lies beneath the battery. The logic board is beneath the metal shield at the top of the image (under the 2D barcode). The Touch battery is 54.0 x 64.1 x 2.8 mm, while the iPhone battery is 43.6 x 50.5 x 5.4 mm. That puts the...
Philips Shoqbox
I rarely use the clock radio in a hotel room. One, I don’t trust that it will work, and two, I don’t want to spend the time figuring out the typically Byzantine path to programming it. Lately I’ve been using my cell phone for an alarm, but I prefer music to the beep of my Treo. And I prefer my music to what plays on most commercial radio stations. The confluence of these preferences leads me to Philips’ ShoqBox Personal Sound System: A combination alarm clock, speaker system and MP3 player in a travel-size case....
Mixing Console iDJ iPod
The iDJ features extruded, anodized aluminum panels, zero tolerance precision switches and knobs for a tight, precise feel, and a soft touch edge bumper that both protects and visually enhances the unit. This full-featured mixer with dual iPod docking stations incorporates a microphone input plus both quarter- and eighth-inch headphone outputs to complete the mixing experience. With USB connectivity to both PC and Macintosh computers, the iDJ functions as a music-loading base as well. Further, the iDJ supports the limited recording capabilities of the iPod--enabling the recording of voice notes for memos, etc. Combine all this with the thoughtful...
